Tobacco Free Partnership Members Participate in Health and Safety Expo
April 1, 2022

On March 26th, 2022, the Tobacco Free Partnership of Okeechobee County (TFP) participated in the 15th Annual Health and Safety Expo. The purpose of the Health and Safety Expo is to educate Okeechobee County residents about the different private and non-profit organizations available locally to assist with healthcare and safety.

There were over 50 organizations in attendance. The TFP hosted an informational booth with games and prizes. SWAT youth assisted with “Activity Jenga” and gave out stress balls to participants. TFP volunteers were at the booth to educate expo attendees about the purpose of the partnership and give out "Quit Your Way" resources. The Health and Safety Expo was attended by over 1500 people from Okeechobee County.
